Luxurious 5 star Mardan Palace Hotel, Antalya
I don’t know how we set aside the grandiose Opening Ceremony of Mardan Palace Hotel in Antalya, Turkey which took place in February 2009. That’s why I’d like to tell you some interesting facts about this world’s most expensive hotel ever built. Mardan Palace hotel is located in Antalya, most luxurious Mediterranean resort where you can dip into the atmosphere of magnificent Turkish sultans and “1000 And 1 Night” tales. Mr. Telman Ismailov spent over $1.4 billion to create such most expensive hotel. 600 guests were invited to the opening ceremony, including such world celebrities and Hollywood stars like Paris Hilton, Mariah Carey, Sharon Stone, Richard Gere, Monica Belluci, Seal and Tom Jones. It costed Mr. Ismailov $35 million.
5 star Mardan Palace Hotel combines innovation design and national heritage. All 500 rooms come equipped with the most luxurious furniture, exotic wood floors, oriental tapestries, luxurious marble bathrooms with golden faucets, advanced interactive multi-media systems, including WiFi connectivity combine to create a harmonic ambience. The luxurious hotel features 7500sqm of premium spa and fitness facilities: Steam, Aromatherapy, Hydrotherapy, Turkish and Sole Steam (Salt) baths, Saunas are just some of the services provided.
Dining has always been a high point of any visit to Turkey and The Mardan Palace doesn’t disappoint with ten restaurants including Japanese, Russian, French, Thai and traditional Turkish which should satisfy the most demanding gastronomes. In 2010 a Jack Nicklaus designed 18 hole golf course will be opened. All in all The Mardan Palace is quite a place, let’s hope that there are enough people who can afford the 360 Euro low season rate for a standard room - I have no doubt the two Royal Suites will be full, there are always people around who can afford 14,000 Euro a night!
